Westview Press—an independent academic publisher based in Boulder, Colorado—relies on semiannual direct mail campaigns to promote its catalog of textbooks to professors. An abundance of copy and strict mailing guidelines limiting usable space presented a challenge while designing these pieces. I needed to ensure the products were clearly announced with an attention-grabbing design that complemented the book covers. Proper organization of the information was also imperative for product recognition and ordering. I designed a variety of these pieces using InDesign.
