I made this graphic for the Longmont Times-Call newspaper to explain the in-situ leach mining process—a controversial method used in uranium mining. The graphic ran with a front-page story about a proposed uranium-mining project in an area near Longmont. I worked with reporter Kacia Munshaw to develop the copy for the graphic, and I designed it in Illustrator.
