Eli Mishkin from Hot IQs asked me to design this poster for a Dec. 22 show at the Bluebird Theater. “It’s not a holiday show, so no pictures of Santa or reindeer,” he said. Instead, I reused the “psychedelic Scrabble” concept I’d developed for the band’s website. I also reused the beautiful monospaced font Andale Mono to ensure that the band names would conform to the poster’s grid design. I designed the poster in Illustrator and Photoshop.
