I constructed this graphic for the Longmont Times-Call newspaper to provide a succinct visual explanation of an accident where two high school boys were struck by an SUV driven by a classmate. In a compact, one-column format, the graphic illustrates where and how the accident took place. It also shows how snow piled on the sides of the road played a significant role in the accident, a detail not included in previous stories. I created the graphic in Illustrator using descriptions of the accident provided by the Colorado State Patrol.
